PULP - What Do You Do For An Encore?

An encore is the part of a gig the band return to the stage after a triumphant two hour set. It often comprises of songs the fans have waited to see perform throughout the entirety of the gig and it’s usually at least two or three big numbers to finish the concert.

An established band like Pulp have a plethora of hits in their back catalogue and don’t need to plead to the audience for a successful encore. However, an amazing film which charts their rise to prominence as a Sheffield band to their most recent comeback gig and album is featuring at HOME – Manchester.

PULP – What Do you Do For An Encore? Narrated by frontman Jarvis Cocker is a celebration of their 40 years as a top selling band.  Please note - Event/ This screening will be followed by a live broadcast Q&A with director Garth Jennings and Jarvis Cocker, streamed directly from the global premiere event in London.
