Regeneration Big Band

To be an accomplished jazz musician you need to start relatively young. A person who pursues this course will have weekly lessons and practice obsessively to the point of perfection. As they get older they may be offered the chance to join a larger group of musicians and play to a respective audience.

Now they are adults and are part of an incredible troupe of old and new jazz musicians. Welcome Regeneration Big Band. They’ll be performing all the big time numbers at The Continental pub – South Meadow Lane – Preston – Sunday October 4th 2026 – 1.30pm – 4.30pm.

The band thrives on its reputation of incredible players led by Nigel Ashworth of the Syd Lawrence Orchestra. Nigel brings together many of his own incredible compositions and arrangements. Showing his mastering of the true swing thing!
