The cinematography on many nature documentaries capture the most fascinating shots in which filmmakers have waited patiently for that one nature scene that remains with us throughout the duration of the programme.

Strip that back and you have a series of filmmakers using an old fashioned Super 8 home movie camera and you have a more raw, authentic glimpse of nature and this fragile world.

‘Super Nature’ is an intimate love letter to nature, captured on the original home movie format by filmmakers across the world. It will be featured at HOME – Arts Venue – Manchester today
