Ice Skating

~If you’ve ever seen the now axed ‘Dancing on Ice’ programme on ITV you would have noticed that there is a real art to ice skating that takes  sheer precision and great beauty.

On Thursday 19th January 2017 you can experience what it’s like to dance on ice. If you’re a seasoned pro you can look cool  or if you’re a newbie perhaps you’ll be collapsing on ice. Either way it’s a fun night out with your Uni mates.

The coach will be taking  students to Blackburn ice arena at 6.30pm meeting at UCLAN. The session concludes at 9.30pm. The cost of transport there and back plus skate hire comes to £15.

Whether you’re a secretly accomplished skater or new to the sport, this activity is open to all students. Try something fresh in 2017  and brave the ice, it could be the beginning of new, exciting ventures!
