Back in 1999 film goers were spooked when The Blair Witch Project was released. The film follows three student filmmakers who disappear while documenting a local witch legend in Maryland.

Although the footage was deliberately chaotic to create tension and suspense there was an initial storyline which had to be embedded into the film.

Now 27 years later it’s appealing to a new generation of fans aged between 16 -30, for a free workshop taking place on another spooky day – Saturday 31st October 2026.

‘Make Your Cut – Film Writing Workshop with Jack Hartley’ – will teach interested ones the writing process even before the first single frame is shot. It all takes place at The Grand – Clitheroe. To book your place simply visit the following website link –
