Hunt for the Wilderpeople

This week was a sad week in film as we lost actor Sam Neill. Sam had been battling blood cancer but was in the clear however he suddenly got pneumonia and passed away. It’s a terrible tragedy to one of Hollywood’s finest actors.

He’s probably best remembered as playing the palaeontologist Dr. Alan Grant in the original Jurassic Park (1993). He reprised his character for Jurassic Park 3 (2001) and Jurassic World Dominion (2022).

However, he also played goofy roles too such as in 2016’s ‘Hunt For the Wilderpeople’. It’s making its return to cinemas to mark its 10th anniversary. It shows how family tensions can fade when faced with a situation to survive.

We can remember fondly the acting prowess of the great Sam Neill.
