20 seconds isn’t enough time to divulge into the depth of character that was the iconic frontman and lead singer of Joy Division Ian Curtis. It does however allow sufficient time for a trailer of a play about Curtis, Joy Division and the pivotal period in music in 1970s Manchester.

‘New Dawn Fades’ is a play about Joy Division and music critics have been bowled over by its accuracy delivering the heart of Manchester 50 years ago.
