Family Fun Afternoon - Garden Games and Giant Bubbles

Remember when you were a child and the summer holidays felt like forever. The freedom to play and have fun was the best thing about the summer holidays.

Now you’re an adulthood and the thought of finding things to entertain the kids dawns on you as the summer holidays are rapidly approaching.

Try this for size :-  Family fun afternoon – Garden Games and Giant Bubbles – Wednesday 5th August 2026 – 1pm – 4pm – Gawthorpe Hall – Burnley – Lancashire.

Join us in the garden for some fun summer activities - have a go at making giant bubbles, try out the Castles Croquet and other garden games on the lawn.  Explore the mobile library and listen to a story, then get creative with badge making and craft activities.

Drop-in, no booking needed, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free activities outside in the grounds, the paths can be uneven.

Come on down for an afternoon of family fun activities in the garden of Gawthorpe Hall.
