The film industry is far from a dying trend. Over the past 40 years we’ve seen huge development from VHS tapes, to DVDs now you can stream films at your leisure.

Professional filmmakers are engaging with this discipline to order to sustain it into the future. Evidence of this is found at – ‘Lytham International Film Festival 2026’. It will take place Thursday 3rd – Sunday 6th September – located at Lytham Institute, Lytham Methodist Church and Lytham Assembly Rooms.

Notice ‘International’ – yes- These are films made and produced around the world. It promises to be an exciting four days in which fans of this media based art can absorb and be inspired with friends and family.
