Seaside resorts often conjure up images of beaches, donkey rides, fun fairs, fish and chips by the sea and a walk by the promenade. You wouldn’t think of a South African band delivering vibrant songs of pure heritage music.

Ubunye: Vibrant Afro – Jazz Fusion in Morecambe is taking place at More Music 13-17 – Devonshire Road – Morecambe next Saturday 9th May 2026 – 8pm – 9.30pm.

It promises to bring the Afro jazz sounds of Africa to the seaside Lancashire town of Morecambe. They’ll be performing tracks from their latest album ‘Tell Me the Truth or Don’t Tell Me Anything’ and the truth is these guys seriously know how to put on a good show!
