Jason Donovan - Doin' Fine

When people hear the word ‘Donovan’ they may think of the Scottish singer songwriter who was successful in the 1960’s and actually turns 80 in a weeks’ time.

But this ‘Donovan’ is the Australian version. Jason Donovan has been around since the 1980’s. Making his first appearance in soap opera ‘Neighbours’ before launching his pop career.

One of his biggest hits was the March 1989 single ‘Too Many Broken Hearts’. Fused with 80s pop and a catchy chorus it went on to become a number one single that month and even Jason himself was unaware of its popularity.

In couple of years he celebrates his 60th birthday and there’s no slowing down for this artist. He’s breaking hearts again with his tour this autumn. ‘Doin’ Fine – stops by the Blackburn King George’s Hall on Sunday 20th September 2026 – 7.30pm start.
