Foreign films have a record of not always working. This is due to poor interpretation of the subtitles or lack of consistency in the storyboard.

However, a French film changes the dynamics completely. ‘The Shepherd and the Bear’ is a documentary folktale about tradition, community and our relationship with nature.

Just watching the trailer fills you with awe knowing that the cinematography is quite incredible as is the compelling storytelling.
