Back in the 1990’s Britpop was all the thing and one band that helped define that genre was Blur. They have had an illustrious career in music and by 2003 relationships became fractured and they broke up for a while. Yet returned several years later with new albums and big tour venues.
Not much has been vocalised by the drummer Dave Rowntree – the beat of the band. Here he is recently expressing his friendships with fellow members and their continued return to the spotlight -
Now he’s about to tell his story of what really happened during their dizzy heights of fame. In a one man show – ‘Dave Rowntree – No one You Know’ – will reveal the highs and lows of being in one of the biggest bands of the 90’s.
