Early in an actors career they have youth on their side. They could pull off stunts, impress the ladies and claim Oscars at award ceremonies. However, in three decades their youthful vigour could fade and they no longer can do what they were trained to do.

But with muppets it’s a completely different story. They can still look young even after many years in the spotlight. All it needs is a little sewing of the patchy eye or making sure the strings are aligned with the hands underneath.

Muppet Treasure Island was first released in 1996 and the muppets haven’t aged a day! Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, fans of the film can re-watch it and imagine they’re young again.
