It’s something of a novelty when a treasured book receives a film adaptation. You really feel the pages come alive as each cast member develops the story into something quite spectacular.

Enid Blyton was an incredibly talented and imaginative writer. Fans of her books can now bring their own children (and possibly themselves!) to the forthcoming movie ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’.

It’s being shown at The Dukes – Lancaster Friday 3rd – Thursday 9th April 2026. Tickets are available to book from the following website link –

This promises to be wonderful film with so much colour filled with the fantasy element that made Enid Blyton books so enchanting.
