In the 1990’s we were swarmed with a sea of Britpop bands all with a different angle on their music. But ‘Space’ formed in Liverpool in 1992 were unique.

With songs such as ‘Female of the Species’, ‘Me and You Versus the World’ and ‘Neighbourhood’ – they were set apart from the usual Britpop crowd.

The latter song was released almost thirty years ago on 25th March 1996 – taken from their debut album ‘Spiders’ with a 56 spot yet when it was re-released on October 21st that same year it peaked at number 11. Despite its dark twisted lyrics its classic Space and remains one of their best tracks.

The great news is they’re coming to your neighbourhood – specifically – Clitheroe – Lancashire – The Grand Venue.

They’ll be playing all the hits and songs from their new album expected to be released this autumn. Book tickets for Saturday 6th June 2026. Doors open – 7pm. –
