The War of the Worlds

This year marks 80 years since the death of novelist, teacher, historian and journalist – H.G. Wells. In his career he was known as the ‘father of science fiction’ and his books had a continual theme of futuristic utopian environments where his imagination found him amidst time travel, alien invasion, invisibility and biological engineering.

One of his most classic works ‘The War of the Worlds’ is getting a new theatrical interpretation this February at The Dukes – Lancaster.

It will be performed in its entirety from Wednesday 18th – Saturday 21st February 2026. Tickets are available to book from the following website link –
