Black Lace were known in the 1980’s for their mega novelty song ‘Agadoo’. If you were a child during that decade you couldn’t escape it being on the playlist at parties.

But what if you were the songwriter of the track? What if as you spent your senior years you were trying relentlessly to move on from it as it followed you decades after you released it……?

‘Still Pushing Pineapples’ – stars Dene Michael frontman of Black Lace as he travels around the UK and abroad attempting to forge a new music career away from the shackles that made Agadoo a regular at kids parties.
