John Robb - In Conversation

To write about music you have to have built your life around it or at least been immersed in the music scene during a pivotal moment.

John Robb is no stranger to music. Having carved -   out a successful post punk band in his early days then capitalizing on his experience by being a music journalist documenting the baggy 80s scene and calling the 90s indie explosion – ‘Britpop’.

Yet he stands alone defiant with a microphone as a one man discussion asking the question to his audience – John Robb – Do you Believe in the Power of Rock N Roll….

He hopes to answer his own rhetorical question on Thursday 21st May 2026 – 7.30pm – Darwen Library Theatre. Tickets are available to book from the following website link –
