The Cassettes - Indie and Britpop Tribute

The 90’s Britpop era has experienced something of a renaissance in recent years. With both Blur, Pulp and Suede releasing new material plus the return of Oasis and support act Cast on this year’s reunion tour.

We cannot forget the birth of further indie bands at the turn of the century too such as the Arctic Monkeys and the Courteeners.

With all this frenzy it also seems appropriate and fitting that an indie and Britpop band should perform a variety of indie hits from our favourite bands just to make us feel even more old and nostalgic.

The Cassettes – Indie and Britpop Tribute are giving it the swagger of Liam Gallagher and the lyrical wit of Damon Albarn on Friday February 27th 2026 – 8pm -11pm at The Continental Pub – South Meadow Lane – Preston.
