Sveta & Slava Duo

You can imagine a young man and young woman immersed in the creative scene of the Royal Northern College of Music. It’s not long before interests are shared and collaborations are formed.

That’s exactly what happened for Russian cellist Svetlana Mochalova and Ukrainian pianist Slava Sidorenko. Not long after their enrolment they became a couple and are now happily married.

But it’s their musical partnership that is so compelling. Both accomplished musicians in their own right they combined skills to become a duo and have performed together on a series of occasions.
