Summers end is fast approaching where the dark afternoons creep in at 4pm and for many it can be an unsettling time. But why not revaluate the situation and take the opportunity to discover books and the authors that provide them. It’s a cosy thing to do with a cup of coffee and a slice of cake…..

Lancaster Litfest – Autumn Weekend 2025 is taking place Friday 17th October – Tuesday 18th November across various venues in Lancaster and also online.

Themes such as gothic stories, the power of graphic novels and slave roots will be covered with a series of professional authors explaining their books.

In addition for the very special post-festival event on 18th November, Poet Laureate Simon Armitage will be back to Lancaster. He'll be in conversation with Kim Moore about poetry and land.
