~Not content with the Blackpool Illuminations? Looking for something with a cultural significance and an entertaining five day spectacular? Look no further than the Lightpool Festival taking place in Blackpool this Saturday 29th October till Wednesday November 2nd 2016.

You can expect to experience a walking tour which includes more than 20 art works inspired by Blackpool’s history and iconic building works.

The five day tour de force preludes on the Friday 28th October from 7.20pm with a space-inspired procession from Comedy Carpet to St John’s Square.

Saturday evening sees  a French street performance as well as the LumiDogs leading an illuminated dog walk.

Sunday’s major highlight sees a staged event featuring Trip Hazard from TV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

Finally on the Monday you can enjoy the brass band Mr. Wilson’s Second Liners performing at St. John’s Square.

If your concerned about the cost of all the above, fear not it’s completely free designed to enjoy and to share with friends and loved ones.
