Spinal Tap 2 - The End Continues

Over 40 years ago a spoof rock band made their first appearance on the 1979 television sketch comedy pilot The T.V. Show starring Rob Reiner. From there, they launched into the 1984 mockumentary film ‘This is Spinal Tap’ – accompanied by a soundtrack album and music has never made serious again!

Now four decades these characters are teaming up for a spoof reunion – ‘Spinal Tap 2 – The End Continues’. The musicians have aged somewhat since their first encounter and are still battling with the concept of being anything but important in a comeback show that hasn’t properly come back.

In a world where musicians take themselves far too seriously it’s good to see a movie that does the opposite and is designed for the public to have a laugh and pure escapism for a couple of hours.
