It’s nearly twenty years ago when a new film franchise reinvigorated our love for Swedish pop group ABBA.  Based on the 1999 book by Catherine Johnson, ‘Mamma Mia!’ was a box office smash hit. It featured a soundtrack smartly composed by ABBA member Benny Andersson breathing new life into those classic tracks, tightly woven into a story abroad.

The sequel, ‘Mamma Mia! Here we go again’ was a reflective script into the discovery of one of it’s key characters from the original. Again, ABBA hits were prevalent and also music legend Cher played the iconic grandmother!

There’s been speculation of a third movie in the franchise, however for now enjoy this feel good film.
