The Beatles once sang about the many potholes in Blackburn Lancashire in their trippy song ‘A Day in the Life’. But Blackburn in the modern era is far from a road hazard danger. It is home to the art college, the established Radio Lancashire and the pivotal museum and art gallery.

In fact the Museum and Art Gallery is playing host to Saturday afternoon concerts from 20th September 2025 – 16th May 2026. Music in the Heart of Blackburn will introduce the public to some fantastic bands that cannot wait to perform for you.
