Andrea Bocelli is the undisputed king of classical operatic pop music. He can transform an ordinary melody into something quite extraordinary.

Having lost his sight at the age of 12 following a football accident, he turned to music and performed his first concert in a small village not far from where he was born.

By the mid 1990’s Andrea Bocelli had established himself as the quintessential operatic master. A song ‘Con te partiro’ was given a makeover following an interest from singer Sarah Brightman in a restaurant. They collaborated together for the song ‘Time to Say Goodbye’ and this catapulted Bocelli to mega stardom.

Now in his 60’s he is here to tell his story. Andrea Bocelli – Because I Believe – is an intimate portrait of a man not overshadowed by his blindness but a man fighting and creating beautiful pieces of music.
