Remember when Sunday evenings were about watching your favourite television programmes. One of those shows was hit 90’s historical finds ‘Time Team’.

It ran from 16th January 1994 – 7th September 2014. It returned in 2022 on online platforms You Tube and Patreon. At it’s peak it was fondly remembered by presenter Tony Robinson explaining the process in lay terms with a specialist team uncovering fascinating finds over a period of three days.

Clitheroe Castle Museum may not have the same energy and enthusiasm as Tony Robinson but it is showcasing an exhibition of some of Lancashire’s best archaeological finds.
