Encounter Festival Preston 2025

For the first eight months of the year Preston is a relatively sleepy city with little if any life taking place. The once popular shops are nearly all closed since the covid days and the increase of homelessness is continually on the rise.

However, come September this once sleepy city wakes up and comes alive with high quality performances, music and community engagement.

Encounter Festival Preston 2025 is returning Saturday 20th September. You can expect a variety of shows, installations and interactive experiences. The festival is also known for it’s spectacular torchlight procession.
