The Forest of Bowland is more than just a rural escapism walk from the everyday mundanity of life. There is a strong historical relevance that shapes this wonderful area of Lancashire and the people that live close by have a collective series of stories that are just waiting to be unravelled.

On the weekend of Saturday 2nd – Sunday 3rd August 2025 Dunsop Bridge is awaiting interested ones at a disused former cow-shed for ‘Nature Calling – Are You Lost?’ – 11am -5pm.

This will be a fascinating couple of days to experience the creative element of The Forest of Bowland and the future of it going forward.
