In his career he was one of music’s most gifted artists, sometimes even referring to himself as an anonymous person to shield his identity. Yes, Prince was a creative enigma like no-one else.
He delivered songs from a range of genres from funk and rock to synth pop and hip hop. Over 40 years ago he made his film debut with the semi - autobiographical movie ‘Purple Rain’.
Prince is credited to have contributed all the songs on the soundtrack in which they did remarkably well on the charts.
His feature film debut is making a return to the cinema from Friday 25th – Thursday 31st July 2025. It’s was highly successful at the time of it’s release and reflects Prince’s meteoric rise to fame.
