30 years ago we were introduced to a new wave of music known as Britpop. This year marks three decades since we were first presented with it and during those years another genre may have been overlooked.

Jazz is very much the gentleman’s genre. With its smooth sound and laidback groove it is probably best heard on a Sunday afternoon in your local pub.

On Sunday July 6th 2025 ‘The Northern Jazz Orchestra’ is returning to The Continental Pub – South Meadow Lane Preston for three hours of pure bliss – 1.30pm till 4.30pm.
