Inspiration to become a musician can come in various ways. For Glaswegian girl Amy Macdonald is was seeing Travis perform at T in the Park festival in 2000 that spiralled into a world of creating songs and albums.

It was the track ‘This is the Life’ that become a number one hit record in six countries whilst reaching the top ten in another 11 countries. It was released towards the end of 2007 following the launch of her debut album of the same name earlier that year.

Now with a further four albums under her belt and an upcoming sixth studio album set to be released on 11th July 2025 entitled ‘Is this what you’ve been waiting for?’…Fans are eager to hear new material and some classics thrown into the mix.
