The Farm

You may assume a band called The Farm is orchestrated by a range of farming machinery such as big JCBs and working flat out in the fields during peak summer months.

That is far from the case, The Farm are a British band from Liverpool and were riding high in the charts from 1983 – 1996. They experienced chart success with upbeat number ‘Groovy Train’ in September 1990. But it was their classic hit ‘All Together Now’ that remains in the hearts and minds of loyal fans to the present day. It became a mega hit and reached number three in the UK charts December 1990.

Let’s remind ourselves why it was so good –

The band took eight years off then returned in 2004 and remain an active band in 2025. In fact they have solidified their legacy with a new album and subsequent tour.
