Children's Literature Festival 2025

It’s very easy for a parent to sit their child in front of the television and allow them to be occupied for several hours. However, the long term effects can be damaging. It can stifle their imagination and prevent them from talking to their parents or fellow siblings.

Start them young with a book and they will discover the wonder of words and enter a world of creativity at their fingertips.

Running from Monday 9th – Saturday 21st June is the ‘Children’s Literature Festival 2025’. Taking place in Blackburn with Darwen Borough Libraries.

This marks the 8th Children’s Literature Festival in a campaign to stir their mind and teach them about stories, sentences and spelling in an engaging summer season for all.
