Ska Face

For those with a keen eye on the origins of a certain genre will be aware that ska music started out in Jamaica in the late 1950s and was the precursor to rocksteady and reggae.

It evolved into the two tone ska revival of the late ‘70s Britain, followed by a movement in the 1980’s and 1990s which included ska punk and third wave ska.

Ska Face take on the two tone era and perform a medley of classic tunes from the best ska bands of that period in music. They last performed at the continental pub – Preston back in November 2023. Check them out in this prelude to their forthcoming April gig –
