All Things McCartney - Unplugged

One of the chief principal songwriters of 1960’s group The Beatles is experiencing something of a renaissance this week as news surfaced of the actors playing each Beatle in a new forthcoming biopic of the legendary fab four.

Outside of The Beatles, Paul McCartney started The Wings, a totally different sound to his former band and he is still riding high as a solo artist. After a triumphant performance at Glastonbury a few years ago, he was even able to perform with the late John Lennon thanks to modern technology which made it possible. He is set to release a new album soon.

Thanks to his loyal fan-base, a series of musicians have paid tribute to Macca with an evening comprising of a combination of his hits covering The Beatles, The Wings and his solo material.

‘All Things McCartney’ – Unplugged will take place on Friday 9th May 2025 – 7.30pm at Darwen Library Theatre. Tickets are available to book from the following website link –
