Ribblesdale School Art Exhibition

Don’t underestimate the abilities of the adults of tomorrow. In a forthcoming showcase you will discover the talents of the youth sector in an engaging and insightful look into their world.

Ribblesdale School Art Exhibition takes place on Sunday 23rd March 2025 from 11am – 4pm at Clitheroe Castle Museum. Pupils have been encouraged to experiment, invent and create their own work.

They have done this through a variety of art disciplines including –

Print making
Watercolours
Oil pastel
Coloured pencil
Mixed media
Embroidery

They have been influenced by established artists including –

Keith Haring
Hundertwasser
Picasso
Matt Kaufenberg
Andy Warhol

The students have been taught to create their own lines of enquiry and starting points these range from places and spaces, the human figure, celebration and botanicals.

You can visit the Upper Steward’s Gallery throughout the day to enjoy the exhibition. Meet pupils and teachers who will be available to discuss their work.
