When people celebrate a milestone year it often follows a resident DJ with some absolute floor fillers. But an event this spring will see the genre itself reaching a momentous year.

On Sunday 25th May 2025 – The Grand Venue – Clitheroe is opening it’s doors at 3pm for an afternoon of Northern Soul, Motown & 70s. It’s a special day for many who can recall the golden age of Northern Soul as it celebrates 55 years of classic records.
