Bollywood Time Machine

This year marks the 40th anniversary of 1985 science fiction classic movie ‘Back to the Future’. A story which sees the friendship between a high school student and a mad scientist go on a journey in time as the protagonist character Marty Mcfly must bring his future parents together so their paths are secure in the modern timeline.

Just imagine for a second though if a potential reboot was considered or even a complete reworking of the entire story in which an Asian young man needed to travel in time in a similar sequence to the original. This time however the entire soundtrack would be Bollywood. Even Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis wouldn’t consider this option……

On Friday 11th April 2025 Darwen Library Theatre is opening it’s doors for the ‘Bollywood Time Machine’ – 7.30pm start.

Experience professional singers and dancers as they travel through the Bollywood decades together. From the 1960’s to the 1990’s and so much more.
