~I can imagine for first years the pressure is beginning to mount already. The list of books to buy and becoming aware of specific deadlines can make you a little anxious.

Thankfully, staff and lecturers know that the first couple of weeks or so can be somewhat daunting and may feel like an intimidating environment especially if your older friends are already really acquainted with University life.

The antidote is a trip this Saturday September 24th 2016 to the National Wildflower Centre where you can see wildflower habitats in a tranquil, family friendly venue. It’s the ideal escapism to enjoy with your newly found friends.

Meet outside Essentials for Freshers only. Leaving Preston 10am and returning 5pm.
