The University of Huddersfield Big Band

Picture, if you can, two versions of music students at an established university. One version isn’t taking it seriously, partying every night and failing every assignment. The second version, however, collaborate all the time, have professional meetings to prepare for coursework and practical examinations and will no doubt progress further as musicians.

The latter of the two is more likely to get work upon graduation and even during their time as students can find themselves engaging in performances to enrich their student experience.

The University of Huddersfield Big Band are playing classics old and new at The Continental pub – South Meadow Lane – Preston – Sunday 2nd February 2025 – 1.30pm -4.30pm.
