Snug Sofa Sessions - Dave Gardner's Tales of the Road & The Wilderness (Free Entry)

Over thirty years ago a special friendship was formed that gave Preston based songwriter and musician Dave Gardner that big break. It was with the late music icon Kris Kristofferson –touring and sharing the same stage and bus together.

In the aftermath of the tour, Dave performed with The Kinks on their 1993/94 final tour and Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett.

‘Empty Dreams’ – produced by Michael Chapman was no reference to the lifelong friendship he formed with Kris as they shared goals and ambitions together.

As a frontman for The Hellfire Preachers, Dave is about to do solo acoustic gig since his days with the Preachers. Spotify and Apple Music has helped him gain interest on these platforms with his debut album.

Here he is with The Hellfire Preachers performing a bluegrass style version of The Beatles’ classic – Come Together -

His upcoming book centres around touring with Kris – ‘Tales of the Road & The Wilderness’ - published Spring 2025.

Three decades since he started his music journey, he’s coming back to Preston’s established Continental Pub – South Meadow Lane – Preston on Thursday 28th November 2024 – Doors open 7.40pm for an 8pm show.

Entrance is free as it’s a Snug Sofa Session however - space is limited so please arrive early if you’d like a seat - first come, first served.

So come together and experience Dave’s stripped back acoustic show.
