Modern music these days is nowhere near the sophistication and class distinction as the old school era. It’s either sampled, covered or a reinvention of the past to create a present track.

Jazz, as an underrated genre of music draws in influences from previous decades to deliver a smooth, cool sound. Providing an original touch as an alternative music interest.

A musician like Munch Manship has carved an interesting career as a jazz saxophonist and with his band ‘Munch Manship Quartet’ they give a swinging sound to relax and enjoy.

They’re back here on Sunday 17th November – 7.30pm – In The Snug. Entrance is free, however space is limited so please arrive early if you’d like a seat – first come – first served.

Bringing together four North West jazz musicians with phenomenal pedigrees, the Munch Manship Quartet is a swinging, melodic outfit that evokes the hard bop bands of the 50s and 60s.
