These days cinemagoers may take it for granted the action scenes portrayed on the big screen. However, there is a real skill to making sure that action shot is to detail, the best the movie director can get to crystallize either the stunt man or in Tom Cruise’s case the actual actor.

Since Monday 4th November ‘Art of Action’ – HOME – Manchester – have been screening past and present action movies plus the directors behind such a compelling genre of cinematic brilliance.

Action scenes are not just thrown together at the last minute, there is precision and timing involved so that all the actors and the director in particular is happy with the final shot. There really is an ‘Art of Action’.
