~Appearing tonight at Preston’s coolest hang out The Continental on South Meadow Lane is a film by Ben Wheatley which comprises of excellent acting, a dramatic soundtrack and by far some of the most finest cinematography any  new and aspiring film maker could ever  create.

‘A Field in England’ is a one hour and 30 minute cinematic masterpiece and set within the time frame of the civil war in 17th century England.

A group of deserters flee from battle through an overgrown field. Captured by an alchemist, the men are forced to help him search for a hidden treasure that he believes is buried in the field.

Ben concentrates his piece of film upon the genre of lo-fi period drama with incredible visuals that will leave you amazed at the overall production.
