If I was to mention The Rolling Stones you could probably call out all of their biggest hits. Formed in the 1960’s during the height of Beatlemania, The Stones were one of the greatest live acts to date. Even now, they can perform to millions of their fans all around the world.

Thirty years after they started out Lee Wharton formed After Hours in the 1990s. He no doubt cites The Stones as one of the bands major influences as they combine a unique blend of blues, rock, funk and progressive sounds into their live circuits.

The band have performed at major blues rock venues and festivals in the North West and beyond and have promoted their work on national radio and even world radio such as Argentina, Australia, Denmark and the USA.

Now three decades since their inception After Hours are playing a steady collection of their own material plus some reworked classic blues and rock numbers at The Continental pub – South Meadow Lane Preston – Saturday 26th October – In the Boatyard – 8pm -  Entrance in free.
