Beautiful by Design- Spoken Word Poetry & Film

Young people today are given a hard time. Why? You may ask. It starts with interaction, instead of conversing during lunch breaks at school, college or university they appear to be glued to their phone, ignoring their peers and missing out on building their confidence.
However, there are cluster of youths in the district of Burnley, Lancashire that are demonstrating how poetry can be an empowering tool to spread a message of togetherness in an overall theme of appearance.
These young people are the next generation of leaders in the adult world of employment. They clearly have foresight, ambition and an ability to converse which is needed to get along in the workforce.
On Saturday 12th October 2024 – Burnley Youth Theatre are inviting you to ‘Beautiful by Design – Spoken Word Poetry & Film’ from 6.30pm – 8pm.
Watch and observe how they interplay with one another and how they connect beauty with every element of our daily life.
