Getting children interested in books is essential so that they have a comprehensive understanding of the English language by the time they reach adulthood.

Children who are inspired by books at a young age often become adept at creative writing when considering options for work as teenagers.

We can all appreciate literature as adults and welcome the arts into our lives this autumn as part of Litfest Autumn Weekend 2024.

It will take place across various venues in Lancaster and online from Friday 18th- Friday 25th October. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the talent in the Lancashire region of writing enthusiasts and their words of fiction designed to entertain audiences.
