Throughout his writing career Roald Dahl had a vivid imagination. He was able to write wonderful stories of fiction for children yet still appealing to the adult population.

Many of his books have been adapted into feature films. These include –

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Matilda
James and the Giant Peach

Directed by Henry Selik the latter film is being shown today – 1pm at HOME – Arts Centre- Manchester. This is part of Family Films at HOME designed to keep the kids entertained till teatime.
